- Abstract
Radiocarbon dating of burials from seven sites in North Hampshire returned Iron Age, Romano-British and Saxon results. The Saxon dates for three sites in Old Basing provide important evidence for settlement here in the Early Medieval period. The human remains selected for dating were assessed and two cases of interesting trauma pathology are explored in detail.
