- Abstract
The article focuses on a Canada Supreme Court case Kerr v. Baramow related to claims on property after separation between unmarried partners. It is mentioned that the relationship of the couple was not qualified as a joint family venture (JFV). It is mentioned that a woman can claim unjust enrichment in absence of JFV which must be based on contribution to property or fee-for-services calculation.
