A case study is presented on how companies in different stages of globalization deal with human resources (HR) issues. Topics covered include HR strategies of South African chemical company Sasol, American car manufacturer Ford Motor Co., and Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson. Also mentioned are U.S. corporations' role in forming the dominant view of global talent management, creating leaders with a global perspective, and realigning HR priorities with changing business needs.
