- Title

- Authors
López, María Soledad; Coutinho, Ricardo
- Abstract
The article presents a study to test the hypothesis that canopies of the native microalgae Sargassum species have a positive effect on the abundance of Isognomon bicolor. Conducted in Ilha dos Porcos on the Southeastern Brazilian coast, the study evaluates the percentage cover of the dominant sessile organisms on low intertidal shores for two years. It presents a comparative analysis of the abundance of I. bicolor between areas with the manipulation of the Sargassum sp. canopy.
