The article describes the case of a male infant with small blisters on both hands and was diagnosed with a provisional epidermolysis bullosa (EB). Topics discussed include medical history of the patient, main types of EB which includes EB simplex, junctional EB, and dystrophic EB, and clinical, ultrastructural, and immunohistologic findings of the case.
