- Abstract
The viscoelastic behavior of elastomeric materials is evidenced both by the elastic effect and by the dissipative effect. In this case, for a more realistic appreciation of dissipation, we have to take into account both the rigidity k and the excitatory pulse ω, together with the viscous damping coefficient c, for kinematic excitations defined by periodic functions in relation to time. Vascoelasticity is linear and corresponds to the Voigt-Kelvin model.
