- Abstract
"Mecmua-i eş'ar" registered with 1467/14 numbered work in İzmir National Library that we have tried to promote, emerges as the fourteenth work in a booklet collected in a single collection of the nineteen separate works. At first glance, this magazine which draws attention with its very small but with legible writing, a clean talik writing and orderly layout creates an impression that it is the result of a mindful hand with its floral ornament in the first pages. The name of the person who sorts out the magazine and the sorting date has not been specified. A period panorama confronts us when the chosen poets for the magazine have been taken into consideration. There is a selection from the poets who lived for about one century between the years of the first quarter of the fifteenth century and first quarter of the sixteenth century. Another intriguing aspect is that the poetry magazines is the web of literary interaction between the poets included in the same work. The Ottoman poetry poets whose poems are listed consecutively with the poets they took as an example and who taunt each other and living together in the same period are just like selected specially. Although the work is not a taunting writing (paralel) magazine, that there are two poems which taunts each other strengthens the possibility that paralel writing can confront us in the selected poetry magazines. The nineteen of the total twenty three poems are the eulogy in this magazine which is missing from the beginning and they appear like "mecmua-i kasaid". Another distinctive feature of this work that we come across frequently in selected poetry magazines is that the poems which are in lyric verse form are not preferred in this selection.
