- Abstract
The article discusses the requirements for standard method performance for vitamin A in pre-blends, pre-mixes and pure materials as approved by the Stakeholder Panel on Strategic Food Analytical Methods (SPSFAM) of the AOAC International as of September 29, 2012. It highlights the applicability, analytical technique that must be used and definition of terms including limit of quantitation (LOQ) and repeatability. Method performance requirements and system suitability tests are also discussed.
