The article discusses the developments in the utilization of human rights treaties in foreign jurisdictions and international tribunals. Topics discussed include the jurisprudence of foreign courts such as the Supreme Court, Federal Court of Appeal of Canada and Great Britain Supreme Court, the approach taken by the European Court of Human Rights, the Inter-American Court on Human Rights, and the International Court of Justice on this subject along with the Human Rights Committee.
