- Abstract
The article discusses a study that focuses on the origin and evolution of diverse skarn formations and iron mineralization in the Pocheon Iron Deposit, Korea. Topics discussed include the ore bodies and layers of magnetite-amphibole ores; development of skarnification and iron mineralization due to contact between myeongseoungsan granite and the carbonate rocks; and development of intense skarn alteration due to channeling of hydrothermal fluids through brittle fractures in the area.
