- Title
Seeking more assurance.
- Abstract
The author discusses the implications of farm assurance programs in animal welfare, based on the 2005 Farm Animal Welfare Council report. The author cites the need for consideration of various factors of the program, including retailers' standards, customer choice, and availability of related information. The author thinks that the Farm Animal Welfare Committee (FAWC) considers the idea of importing cheaper animal foods and urges improved labelling to meet the British standards.
