- Title
OIE reassurance on H1N1 influenza in animals.
- Abstract
The article reports on the assurance given by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) that there are no reasons for alarm concerning reports of finding H1N1 influenza virus in animals in Great Britain. It notes that disease surveillance systems and H1N1 virus in animals are working well in response to the reports of the HN1 virus in animals. OIE stresses that there are no evidence suggesting that animals play a role in the epidemiology or spread of H1N1 to people.
