- Abstract
The article discusses the amicus brief filed by scholars in the U.S Supreme Court case United States v. Windsor for the recognition of children's constitutional rights. It discusses the Windsor case, in which the Supreme Court determined the constitutionality of Section 3 of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) for same-sex couples marriage. It states that DOMA act deprives children of important federal benefits and the reason of psychological harm on all children with gay or lesbian parents.
