- Abstract
The article discusses the legal issues of discovery and evidentiary significance of an opposing party's legal fees and billing records as examined in the Florida Supreme Court Case Paton v. Geico General Insurance Co., the case's reliance the cases HCA Health Services of Florida Inc. v. Hillman, and Estilien v. Dyda, in addition to proposing a rule that incorporates the Florida Supreme Court decision and case law.
