- Title
Does Schmidt's Process-Orientated Philosophy Contain a Vicious Infinite Regress Argument?
- Authors
Weber, Stefan
- Abstract
The author presents his insights about the article "From Objects to Processes: A Proposal to Rewrite Radical Constructivism," by Siegfried J. Schmidt. He examines whether the process-oriented philosophy of Schmidt is based on an infinite regress argument. He reflects on the works of Claude Gratton and Nicholas Rescher about the difference of vicious and benign infinite regresses and depicts the logical problem in Schmidt's philosophical viewpoint.
