- Abstract
The article discusses the author's claim that U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit Judge Frank Easterbrook violated judicial conduct standards that were established by the nation's Supreme Court during a trial in which former Illinois Governor George H. Ryan was found guilty of mail fraud, and it mentions Easterbrook's reputation, his bullying of attorneys, and his inclusion of falsehoods in written legal opinions. U.S. government prosecutions and new trials are assessed.
