- Title
The Rediscovery of the Queen Victoria Ten Pence Embossed Die 5 W.W. on Dickinson Paper.
- Authors
Huggins, Alan K.
- Abstract
The article discusses the Queen Vitoria's ten pence embossed Die 5W.W. on Dickinson paper of Great Britain. It notes that the 1889 date for the 10d Die 5 being place to press distinctly links to the introduction of the 10d blue stamped telegraph forms. It indicates that few adhesive stamps were said to have been made from the die 5 but nothing can be seen on present. It states that the existence of Die 5 W.W. on Dickinson paper evokes questions as to whether 10d stamps were actually issued.
