- Abstract
The article offers brief outlook on the primary elections stories in the U.S. The 2000 presidential primary election is described as one of the most memorable presidential elections happened in the country wherein Senator John McCain of Arizona compete with Governor George W. Bush of Texas for the Republican presidential nomination. The type of primaries that most commonly used are the two version of closed primary, the "classic closed" and the "semi-closed primary." It also discusses the voting procedures for the party members vote in party primaries as well as the primary election law provision.
