- Abstract
The article addresses some of the issues pertaining to medical education in the U.S. According to the author, evidence-based medicine will stay as a basis of clinical decisions. The author stresses the importance of serving the needs of patients and their families and adopting guidelines and checklists. He also mentions that electronic medical records will play a key role in medical practices. A brief account of the author's experience as an associate dean at Yale Medical School is provided.e
