The article focuses on architect Robert Stern's design and construction of the Mexx International headquarters in Voorschoten, The Netherlands. The design scheme consists of an existing 25,000-square-foot, 19th-century silver factory which was renovated to accommodate corporate offices on the ground floor and fashion design studios on the first floor.
