- Authors

- Abstract
The authors present insights on how to advance the understanding of behavior in social-ecological systems (SES) through results from laboratory and field experiments. Topics discussed include the failure of early experimental designs to include important aspects of some of the challenges experienced by real natural resources users, the use of intergenerational public-good experiment, and a study on the effect of shock on the willingness of people to share resources with affected individuals.
