- Abstract
The article presents forecasts on the direction of economic growth for member states of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in 2014. Based on the National Institute Global Econometric Model (NiGEM), the ratios of government debt to gross domestic product (GDP) would be higher in all countries with budget deficit problem. This outlook would be influenced by possible break-up of the Eurozone, monetary policy and the pace of economic growth in emerging economies.
