- Abstract
Dear Editor, It is well known that olfactory deficit reduces pleasure to eat, impacts relationship to food, and increases risks of household accidents. To conclude, in line with a previous survey on olfactory implants [[6]], we suggest here that when the technology will be ready, e-noses might be particularly useful for patients for whom alternative treatments have failed. Existing therapies include surgical procedures, pharmacological treatments, and more recently olfactory training [[3]].
