- Abstract
In this study, the finite‐time lag synchronisation problem between two time‐delayed complex networks is investigated via event‐triggered control. A new event‐triggered controller is proposed, which is much simpler than the existing related controllers. For the purpose of dealing with the time‐delay effect, two triggering functions are designed to co‐determine the triggering time sequence. With the proposed event‐triggered control scheme and by using the finite‐time stability theory, the authors have successfully ensured the time‐delayed drive‐response networks realise finite‐time lag synchronisation. Moreover, the derived synchronisation criteria can imply the explicit relationships of the involved parameters to realise finite‐time lag synchronisation. Finally, some examples are given to illustrate the validity of the derived results.
