- Abstract
The article discusses the author's study of the reproductive biology of 3 fish species from the Flint River that rises in Tennessee and flows south through Madison County, Alabama into the Tennessee River. Topics discussed include a study on the Silver Shiner Notropis photogenis, Blotched Chub Erimystax insignis and Whitetaile Shiner Cyprinella galactura which represent the historic high diversity and present threats to diversity and how they require clean water, especially the Blotched Chub.
