- Abstract
The article focuses on the issue regarding the proposal of Bishop Philip Francis Murphy for women priests' ordination in the U.S. The author denotes the Bishop Murphy's reflections on women's great contributions for the development of the church and other religious activities and cites his efforts for their ordination not only as readers and extraordinary minister of the Eucharist but also as ordained women clergy. The author also mentions Bishop Murphy's assertion addressed to the Vatican to recognize women's efforts as well as contributions for the Catholic Church.
