COMPARAÇÃO DO TEMPO DE REAÇÃO DISCRIMINATIVO (TRD) EM ATLETAS DAS CATEGORIAS SUB-14 E SUB-15.

- Abstract
Introdução: O tempo de reação discriminativo (TRD) é uma medida quantitativa de velocidade e qualidade de tomada de decisão do atleta que interfere no sucesso de suas ações físicas e técnico/táticas no futebol. O TRD está associado a acertibilidade e a velocidade de resposta do atleta. Pouco se sabe se existe ou não oscilações no TRD de atletas de diferentes categorias. Objetivo: Comparar o TRD de atletas de futebol das categorias sub-14 e sub-15. Método: Foram avaliados 139 atletas de futebol, sendo 75 atletas da categoria sub-14 com idade (x = 13,97 DP±0,16) e 64 atletas da categoria sub-15 com idade (x =14,96 DP±0,17) de 3 clubes mineiros da capital. Avaliou-se o TRD em milissegundos (ms) através do teste Reaction test (RT/S5) do Vienna Test System SPORTS®. As coletas foram realizadas nos centros de treinamentos dos clubes com os atletas descansados e antes da sessão de treino. Os procedimentos estatísticos utilizados foram: estatística descritiva (x e DP±), teste de Kolmogorov-Smirnov e ANOVA One-Way, com nível de significância (p<0,05). Resultados: As médias dos grupos foram: sub-14 (TRD: x =552ms, DP±62,61) e sub-15 (TRD: x =533ms, DP±61,13). Não foram encontradas diferenças estatisticamente significativas entre as categorias ao comparar TRD (p=0,29). Conclusão: O TRD dos atletas avaliados é semelhante entre as duas categorias sub-14 e sub-15.
