- Abstract
The article discusses an alternative approach to tort law in relation to the Minnesota Supreme Court's ruling in the 2012 case Glorvigen v. Cirrus Design Corp. which deals with a duty to provide training and an airplane manufacturer's duty to warn. An economic loss doctrine is addressed, along with an educational malpractice doctrine and liability under Minnesota law. Product safety and contract laws are examined, as well as breaches of contracts and the Uniform Commercial Code.
