- Authors
Miadenova, Olga M.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the linguistic study of Bulgarian quantifiers. It examines how the quantification changes between damaskin and Bulgarian dialects and interprets how the Slavic, Romance and Balkan backgrounds relate to the quantification in a typological context. It discusses significant gaps in the diachronic processes of Bulgarian quantification with regards to its geographic dimensions and regional variation. The author also provides guidelines for further research on quantification. Other topics include non-divisible nouns versus divisible nouns, contact between languages, and collocation.
