- Abstract
The article discusses a longitudinal research project investigating the training of foreign language teachers based on developing awareness of the teacher identity. The authors comment on strategies used such as personal narratives of the teachers. The authors focus on the study and teaching of foreign languages, the philosophical concept of otherness, as well as the capacity for reflection. Other topics mentioned include critical thinking, self evaluation, and El Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación.
