- Abstract
The article presents reflections on the spiritual challenges faced by Jewish people in regards to the Holocaust of World War II. The author particularly describes the experiences of his father as a member of the Allied liberator forces which discovered and opened German concentration camps in 1945. The author then describes the psychological scars which those events left on his father and his larger family in general. Concluding points are given noting how these events eventually led to much loss of faith in his family.
