- Abstract
The article discusses research by Alexandra H. Baker et al., reported in the Clinical Pediatrics journal, on the comparison between ibuprofen and acetaminophen for fever reduction in the pediatric emergency department. The study found that children who received oral ibuprofen were more likely to become afebrile within each time interval analyzed compared to those who received acetaminophen, with the effect most pronounced beyond 2 hours after administration.
