- Abstract
The moderate physical activity steadily improving health and quality of life. According to WHO for any adult and therefore for any woman, physical activity is a determinant of energy balance and the control of the mass health properties such as reduction of blood pressure, improvement in the level of cholesterol and control of hyperglycemia, especially in people with excess mass. There is enough scientific evidence indicating that regular, moderate physical activity during pregnancy in healthy pregnant women with normal pregnancy has no risk to the health of the mother or the fetus. The benefits are not only during pregnancy but also during childbirth and postpartum. Professionals who work with pregnant must inform the issues surrounding the exercise in this period and it is always important to individualize each case taking into account the practice of pre-pregnancy sport. It should inform the mother about danger signs and indicate that physical activity should be based on activities aimed at maintaining or improving aerobic activity and muscle strength and endurance.
