- Abstract
The article presents information on e-books. E-books have been very popular since their introduction by the website Amazon. Due to their properties, they are ideal for finding alternative forms of access for print-disabled and blind readers. It can be accessed through text-to-speech, Braille, or magnification. They are an advantage for publishers also as they get revenue. But a negative point about them is a combination of file formats, devices, and platforms which are confusing.
