- Abstract
Au fil des dix dernières années. l'organisation mondiale du marché de la publicité a connu de profondes évolutions structurelles. La mondialisation est aujourd'bui devenue une évidence. Face À cet immense mouvement. les marques deviennent internationales, parfois mondiales. Sur ce plan, force est encore de constater qui'une prime considérable joue encore en faveur des marques d'origine antéricaine. Dans le m¾me temps, et au cours de la m¾me période, la communication elle-m¾me a changé de nature. Initialement centrée sur la publicité, elle s'est progressivement et rapidement développée À de multiples autres disciplines. On le sait, dans la plupart des pays occidentaux, les dépenses de publicités classiques diffusées dans les médias ont nettement cédé le pas, en proportion, aux dépenses dites « hors média ». Les campagnes À mettre en œuvre changent donc À la fois de dimension et de nature. Ces campagnes ont pour certaines, vocation mondiale, mais sont pour la plupart, conçues À l'échelle des marchés continentaux. Au service de ces marques, dans leur ensemble, la communication publicitaire n'est plus seule en jeu. On voit appara¾tre deux p¾les nouveaux, celui de la relation directe et celue de l'interactivité. Les campagnes À concevoir ont eu plus souvent pour cadre les nouveaux ensembles économiques régionnaux, comme par exemple le marché unique européen. Enfin, et surtout, la publicité ne peut parler de la m¾me façon À travers les frontières. Pour s'adapter À ces nouvelles évolutions des marques et de leur marché, les agences n'avaient pas d'autre choix, elles aussi, que celui de la mondialisation ou, À tout le moins, d'une très forte internationalisation. Chacun de ces réseaux a une forte implantation internationale et chacum propose un éventail de services, qui se structure, en général, author de quatre p¾les : la publicité classique, les services d'achat média, le marketing services et le multimédia. L'organisation d'anjour-d'bui et de demain des groupes de communication dépendra de la réponse qu'ils apporteront À cinq questions essentielles ; le défit de la taille, l'organisation interne des réseaux, l'expertise média, l'interactivité et le conseil stratégique.
