- Title
Interactions with DNA: Into the minor groove.
- Authors
Neidle, Stephen
- Abstract
The article focuses on the molecular interaction of DNA duplexes and ruthenium complexes. It states that the crystal structures of the interactions occur in a minor groove. It features the studies of Jacqueline Barton and colleagues on the co-crystallization of two adenine:adenine (A:A) mismatches and Christine Cardin and colleagues on the bonding of Λ-[Ru(phen)2(dppz)]2+ complex. It also discusses the crystal structure showing the intercalation of a ruthenium complex between tow pairs of the double helix.
