The article focuses on amphiphilic copolymer coating on biofilm formation and biofouling control, and talks of hydrophobic monomers hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) and perfluorodecyl acrylate (PFA), and use of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) to measure presence of membrane coating.
