The article offers brief history and structure of the Idaho judiciary. Topics discussed includes the approval of the Organic Act of the Territory of Idaho in 1863 which created temporary government for Idaho, including a judiciary; where the Supreme Court was to be comprised of three justices a chief justice and two associate justices and mentions that President Abraham Lincoln appointed the first justices of Idaho Supreme Court on March 10, 1863.
