- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 38-year-old woman with a 2-year history of goitre who was admitted to the authors' clinic for evaluation of a lump in the neck that had been growing for two months prior to presentation. There was no history of neck trauma or irradiation. Computed tomography of the neck showed an ovoid mass with central necrosis in the mid-jugular chain and multinodular hyperplasia of the thyroid gland. The diagnosis was low-grade angiosarcoma of the cervical lymph node.
