The article describes the ways in which many tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and concepts currently in use by the U.S. and allied militaries can be readily applied to lethal autonomous weapons (LAWS). Topics covered include the current state of development of LAWS, the legal challenges and objections to the employment of such systems, and the Law of Armed Conflict.
