- Abstract
The article presents observational texts concerning the planet Mercury as indicated in the planetary omens of the Mesopotamian tablet series Enuma Anu Enlil (EAE), which include Tablet 63, or the Venus Tablet, which derives predictions from the dates of the disappearances, durations of invisibility, and dates of the first visibilities of Venus. Topics include the fragments, including BM 37647, K.6153 in Babylonian script and Rm.2,303 and Rm.2,361, in Assyrian script, and Tablet 56 of EAE.
