- Abstract
The article discusses the advancement of genome editing and its significant function in molecular diagnosis. It states that genome editing using customizable nucleases enables genome sequence manipulation among living organisms and cells. It adds that CRISPR-Cas system is the simplest genome-editing nuclease platform that can be used as a general method in developing isogenic paired human cell lines and in determining the genetic role of specific mutation on a drug-resistance phenotype.
