- Abstract
The article reports on the results of interviews with seventeen Belgian children participating in a treatment program using Life Space Crisis Intervention. The children, ranging in age from three to eighteen, have a variety of emotional and behavior disorders, including ODD, ADHD, autism, bonding disorder, and physical and sexual abuse. They were interviewed on their perceptions of the program and conflict resolution. The results were interpreted not as the views of mentally disturbed children but as opinions differing from those of the psychologists and educators administering the program. The children talk about what prompts a conflict, how they react to intervention by educators, and how they feel afterwards.
