- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examined whether saline groundwater from inland New South Wales is suitable for culture of salt-tolerant freshwater fish, silver perch with or without potassium supplementation. The silver perch used in the study were bred at the Grafton Aquaculture Centre in New South Wales. The ability of silver perch to osmoregulate has enabled the fish to survive in saline groundwater.
