- Abstract
The article presents information on the interdisciplinary approach towards solving the problem of diminished capacity of the senior citizens that poses as threat to the attorney-client relationship. The correlation of dementia with old age is projected by the Department of Health and Human Services of the U.S. Strategies and policies should be adopted by lawyers for reducing the risk of malpractice liability and for preserving the autonomy and privacy of the client. Information on the interdisciplinary services with respect to the elder law is also presented.
