- Abstract
The article presents the case of a 30-week premature female neonate who was born from a healthy 19-year-old gravida 1 female through cesarean delivery. She was noted to have generalized thick dark brown scale that forms a tight membrane over her entire skin surface, as well as eclabium, malformed ears, and contractures of the extremities. She was eventually diagnosed with congenital atresia with lamellar ichthyosis (LI) and was treated with lubricant daily.
