- Abstract
The authors reflect on the impact of competition among health care providers in the European Union. They discuss the support of the European Commission to its Expert Panel on Effective Ways of Investing in Health (EXPH) to know how competition affects to the health systems in the European Union. They also mentioned the improvement in patient choice, quality, and cost control due to the competition.
