A Method for Surface Assessment.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses research which examined how surfaces interacted with volleyball players who jumped on them. The goal of this research was to determine whether floor surfaces affected jumping performance and whether different jump heights caused more deformation to occur to the floor surface. Jump performance did not seem to be affected by the surface. Deformation seemed to be related to the dimension of the floor size. A complete floor exhibited less deformation than a sample of the floor.
