The article discusses the contribution of opioid system in the palatability of sucrose and fat emulsions. Topics discussed include the effects of naltrexone in sucrose and Intralipid; the effects of opioid receptor antagonists in sucrose and intralipid in mice model; and analysis of the effects of food deprivation on sucrose and Intralipid.
