The article reviews the study "Sleep and Its Relationship to Pain, Dysfunction, and Disease Activity in Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis" by S. Shyen et al., published in the journal "Clinical Rheumatology" on October 19, 2013. The study involved patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) who were assessed for bedtime resistance, sleep onset delay, sleep anxiety and parasomnias. Painful joints and C-reative protein level were among the factors considered in JIA activity assessment.
